Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of our driver-on-demand service and relationship with drivers and the platform.

1. Scope of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access and use of the Driver Assist platform (the “Platform”) and any services offered through it, including connections to independent drivers (“Drivers”). By booking a service you agree to these Terms.

1.1 Who we are

We are a technology platform that connects users requesting driving services with third-party drivers. We are not the employer or agent of Drivers unless explicitly stated.

1.2 Who can use the service

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract.
  • Drivers must hold valid licenses, local permits, and pass verification checks.

2. Booking, Pricing & Payments

How bookings are placed, charged and paid.

2.1 Booking

Bookings can be placed through the Platform. Users must provide accurate trip details. Driver arrival times are estimates and may change due to traffic and other conditions.

2.2 Pricing

Prices shown at booking include base fare, distance/time charges, and any applicable taxes or fees. Additional charges (tolls, parking) may be billed separately.

2.3 Payment

  1. Payment methods accepted: credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, or in-app balance where available.
  2. By providing a payment method you authorize us to charge for the booking and any extra fees incurred.
  3. Disputes about charges must be raised within 14 days of the transaction date.

3. Cancellation & No-shows

3.1 Cancellations

Users can cancel bookings before driver dispatch without charge if within the free-cancellation window displayed in-app. Cancellations after driver assignment may incur a cancellation fee.

3.2 No-shows

If the user is not present at pickup after a reasonable waiting time, a no-show fee may apply. Drivers are instructed to follow local regulations at pickup locations.

4. Conduct & Safety

All users and drivers must act lawfully and respectfully. Abusive or unsafe behavior may result in account suspension.

4.1 User responsibilities

  • Provide correct pickup/drop details.
  • Follow driver instructions regarding vehicle safety (e.g., seat belts).

4.2 Driver responsibilities

  • Drivers must follow traffic laws and act professionally.
  • Report any incidents to the Platform promptly.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising out of use of the service. Our total liability for direct losses will be limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking.

6. Refunds & Disputes

Refunds are issued where appropriate after investigation. Report problems within 14 days. We reserve the right to withhold refunds pending an investigation.

7. Privacy

We collect personal data to provide services β€” contact info, trip details, payment details. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect your data.

8. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or illegal conduct. Users may close their account by contacting support; outstanding charges remain payable.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the company is registered. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
